Character Name: Reena Lee Shandil
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Character Age: 22
Height/Build: five foot and nine inches, 130 or so.
Character Appearance: Reena is rather tall, standing at five foot and nine inches. She has a slightly toned body, from keeping herself in shape. Of course, it comes with her 'job', she has to stay fit. Her hair is long and brown, cascading down her back in thick, wavy locks. She has hazel eyes, leaning more toward a mossy green color then anything else, and they are surrounded by long and dark eyelashes. Her skin is a pale white complexion, with a few freckles scattered over her nose and cheek. On any other day, she could be seen walking down the street, her hair either pulled up in a lose ponytail, or flying around in a slightly messy and tangly way. She mostly wears jeans and a wife-beater, with either a hoodie if she feels casual or a mid-thigh long trench coat if she feels more "dressy". She always hides a couple of knives somewhere on her body, either it be secured to her forearm under her sleeve, or at her thigh in a leather holder.
When the occasion comes, she will dress up with more effort put into it, but she isn't one to wear high heels. She is very fond of sneaker and flat shoes, for they allow you to move much more freely, and are that much more comfortable. In the morning, she is the kind of girl to throw on whatever fits, brush her hair quickly, and put on some eyeliner and mascara... She was lucky enough to inherit of clear skin, and well, that makes it all that much more easier. Her features are strong, and mostly frozen in a permanent serious and blunt look, but when she cracks a smile, a dimple shows on her cheek, and her straight, white teeth can be seen from between her thin, pale pink lips.
Special Power/Ability: She has developed great skills when it comes to fighting, especially with blades.
Personality: This young woman was once a loud, lively, ever laughing child. When she was young, she was your typical hyper kid, who lived in her very own magical imaginary world, who picture herself as something she was not just for the entertainment... But this has changed drastically, it all went out the window when she first killed a man. With her job and history, Reena had no choice but to become a strong woman. She knew, from day one, that if she was going to go on and do what she thought she HAD to do, she would have to stay strong, not to let things get to her.... Of course, this is the price to pay, but Reena deals with it, and she enjoys what she does.
She is blunt, a bit bitter, and even a bit bitchy when the occasion comes. She is one to say things just the way it is, not to beat around the bush. She virtually never censures herself, and doesn't care if one was to think she was pushing it too far. If people don't like her ways, if people don't like the way she says thing, they can all go to hell. She calls herself "honest", and not a bitch. She doesn't stop herself from saying something, good or not. She doesn't tame it down, and she says things just how they come up in her mind. When most people would think 'I can't tell her/him that, that would be harsh', Reena just says it, loud and clear. And it often comes along with a shrug. She doesn't care if a person dislikes her for that aspect of her, that only means they don't deserve all the work of getting to know them.
She also has learned not to trust people too easily. Backstabbers, she has seen many of them. And well, that is a big reason why she never opens up fully to anyone, unless she KNOWS she can trust them. And even then, she never goes into details. She has learned to forget stuff on purpose, and to blank out on some subjects. She has learned not to feel regrets about whoever she has killed, she has learned not to think about how they maybe had family, a wife, kids... Because that would only bring her to her loss. She is determined to get rid of those who shouldn't even live, she is determined to give the people who have made others life a living hell what they deserve, and that is what she keeps her focus on.
Reena is very active, not one to enjoy staying in the same place for too long. She is always on the move, and fidgets, taps her foot, twiddles her thumbs, shakes her legs, drums her fingers... She is not patient, and has a short fuse. She has a hot temper, and will tell you right away if you aggravate her in any way. Though, if you are lucky enough to be one of those people who actually catch her interest, she will be warmer. Sure, there will be an edge to her anyways, but she will actually talk to you. With people she is fond of, Reena is able to let go a bit, and it is one of these rare moments she actually stops worrying and being so careful about everything.
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Likes: when things go her way, people with a strong personality, man, switchblades, knives, daggers, anything with a sharp edge to it, satisfaction, determination, sarcasm, people who can give a fight, challenges, moving, running, her eyes, people who can make her laugh.
Dislikes: When someone doesn't know what they want, whiny people, waiting, when the days goes by far too slowly, when people argue about stupid stuff, being told she's wrong, failure, boredom, emotional brats, hyper people, kids, people who ask too many questions, overly curious people.
History: Reena Lee Shandil was brought to the world by single mother, Eleanor Shandil. Her ex boyfriend, Sean Sullivan, had panicked at the idea of having a child, for the two had only been together for a few months. Of course, the fact they were both only 18 years of age didn't help. So one morning, when Eleanor woke up to find the bed empty, and all of Sean's clothing missing... She knew exactly what was going one. She was expecting it, but it still hurt her, and she feared the idea of raising a child by herself. Though, she made it just fine on her own, and would often pride herself into telling everyone she had done it all alone, and had done an excellent job at it. Baby Reena was fed as a human baby should be, had all the stuff she needed, but was never particularly spoiled.
Reena was out running some errands one day when she was thirteen years old, and her mother has asked that she waited for her. Reena, being the nice girl she was, did as told, and sat on a bench patiently... When a man came up to her. He greeted her, introduced himself, and Reena only stared for the longest time, unsure of whether she wanted to speak to the man or not. Though, when he told her his name, and added "your father" to his sentence, Reenas view on him changed drastically. She stood up, and ran to her mother, telling her about how she had just seen her dad. That left Eleanor emotionless, and next thing she knew, Reena was home. Her mother took drastic measures to never talk about this occurrence again, but Reena would never forget the day she first met her father.
She did her research on the man, and found out her mother wasn't the only one he had left when pregnancy happened. As a matter of fact, he had six off-springs, all of different mother. He had six different families, which he had never stayed around long enough to see even one birth. This disgusted Reena, who decided to go and meet her 'half-siblings". She got to meet three of them, and when she was at the fourth, she had just turned sixteen. A boy, probably five years younger then she, herself, was, answered at the door. He looked terrified, and barely even talked for the short ten minutes Reena was with him. though, what he did tell her, left Reena cold. His mother had just been killed. By his father. Came out, Sean was probably as crazy as they came.
He thought that, when his former 'girlfriends' gave birth to their child, they had taken a piece of his soul away. He had already taken down three of the six woman, and had successfully killed two of the child. Sickened, Reena chose not to tell her mother about this, not wanting to alarm her... And she waited. For a month, she never left the house. And when her "father" showed up, Reena was well prepared. He didn't even got to say a word before his throat was slit, and his blood drained from him. Her mother, alarmed by the commotion, entered the living room, only to see the bloody mess that was all over. Terrified, she never asked one question about it, and just took very good care to clean out all the blood, and hide the body.
Reena was changed forever, that day she first killed a man. She never spoke to her mother, and was home only to sleep and eat once in a while. Eleanor, once again, decided better then to ask questions. Came out, it was a very wide decision. Because Reena decided to go on her own, and kill those who didn't deserve to live. The scum of the world. The 'evil-doers'. Basically, that included rapists and the likes. Four years later, Reena had always managed to escape getting caught. 20 years old, and a long list of murdered people on her hands. She thought she was pretty much incognito, but came out, someone knew who she was. A man showed up at her place, and told her he knew what she did. He knew what she had done, and he liked how she was doing it. He asked her if she wanted to take it to the next level, and well, Reena gladly accepted. Hell, if there was money to make out of it, she was all in.
A year into the "business", and Reena enjoys it... Or well, she doesn't hate or dislike it. It is just another thing to do. It keeps her busy. And that is something she likes. The more there is to do, the less she can think of what she has done. Of course, she has learned to block out any 'regret' or 'remorse' when it come to her... "Achievements", but she IS but human, after all, and those are bound to come up once in a while.

Roleplay Example: There was so much Nora had left to learn, to know about. So many places she had to visit, so many people she had yet to meet.... But it felt to her, as if she had been standing still for years, watching her peers and friends advance in life, go to places elsewhere, go on and fro with their short life. And she felt like she was stuck, with a feet in the mud, only able to move in circle, and not forward. She felt as if her life was a vicious little circle, going around and around, and everything was the same. She'd wake up, go to school, come home to the same depressing scenery... And repeat. Again and again, until the week was over. And then, the next week, with only a variation or two to her routine (Like.. Snow, or something not important like this), it would be all the same again. Routine scares people away. And hell, Nora was terrified by her own routiny life. People try to step out of the routine, to make things a bit different everyday... But she, herself, couldn't, simply because she had to be the 'adult' of the house, when she still was but a kid. Sometimes, she would wonder if running away would do any good, but then again, run to where? She would always come back to her little masochistic pleasure of a life, which she didn't enjoy all that much.
Nora wasn't angry. She was passed that point. She had felt anger before, resent toward her familly... But she was passed that point. As sad as it sounds, she just didn't care anymore. She worried, but she didn't care. That showed in every aspects of her life, too. She had slowly started to talk so much... Had been laughing a lot less for the past few months. She wouldn't hang-out with her so called fiends as much anymore, just because their interests differed greatly. And her school grades started to go down hill, at an infuriating speed. Was it a shout for help, or just a proof that she was to the point where thing didn't even matter anymore? Her teacher, they tried to get her to speak, but there was nothing to do. She would brush it off, and stay silent. Her own mother had not noticed how her daughter had started to lose that sparkle that had made her shine in her youth. And that, also, was very sad. But could she really blame her? She was so busy and always worn out... And Nora was also very tired. This was no life for a teen, and she despised that she couldn't be like everyone else.
She wasn't weird, but she WAS a little off. Being in a city she had never even visited before, away from what she had called her 'life'... It had taken it's toll on her. Cars zoomed by, headlights on, lighting the path ahead of them... And Nora, she didn't know what was ahead of her. She kind of hoped she wouldn't have to go back to her house. But then, what would her father do? She looked to the man sitting next to her, and tried not to think about it. It was all too frustrating, and would probably leave her miserable to think it through too much. He spoke, and smiled, just a little. She looked at him silently for a few, short seconds, furrowing her thing, naturally arched eyebrows a bit. 'Want him to be free'... What was that supposed to mean? It was most likely a kind of sentence that would have gotten just about any other person to leave in a hurry and never look back, but this girl and her innocence, her carelessness...
"If you ask me, he's not the one who needs to be saved." she answered him quietly, her tone a little darker then it had been when she had previously spoken. Him? Nah. Let him be busy and pass all the good things in life. Let him run around like a ant, only bothered by his work and plain life. Let him be so stressed out he gets sick, and has to drop everything he's ever known so that he doesn't die prematurely... Nora, though. Nora, being freed. Freed from what? He boring life? The unnecessary things she worried about? Yes. But what was being free, in the others book, she had no idea. She didn't want to think about it. She wasn't going to ask, either, just assume... And not think of what could be, or could have been in his mind. She wasn't scared. She was never scared... Or well, not when it came to this kind of stuff. Let what should happen, happen. And don't judge it, good or bad. Because, there was always a reason, an explanation behind everything... She thought that way, because else, she would lose her mind.
Plus, free him. That man was in for a challenge! Free him, and the rest of the ants that roam this city! Free him, and free the rest of the society she lives in! Things had change.... And Nora always thought she had been born in the wrong era. Or the wrong family. She felt like she didn't belong there. But she had no place else to go, and well, she had no choice but to deal with what had been given to her. She was alive, medically speaking. Because she felt dead inside. Dead and rotten. She wasn't thankful enough of her mother who always brought food upon their table and gave them a roof over their head. But she didn't care, once again. For being homeless might just have been the thing to get her father to realize that, hello, he was ruining his life. He was in a never-ending depression, and it was taking it's toll on the rest of his family. Nora shook her head, and leaned back against the wooden bench, crossing on of her long, thin legs over the other. " I'm the one who needs to be free." she said softly, looking ahead of her, and brushing a strand of hair behind her ear once again. *
