Age: 32
Gender: Male
Race: Demon
Appearance:
Ein is a specimen of male beauty, with wispy blond hair that falls carelessly across his face and shoulders, smooth, peachy skin, full lips and piercing gray eyes. His nose is straight, his cheekbones high, and his chin is narrow.
He claims that his hair is the way it is when he gets out of bed win the morning, but it shows mild traces that there may have been some styling involved. He also claims that his looks are natural, but rifling through his belongings will show you several skin creams and lip balms.
He is often seen with a wondrous look upon his face, as though he is impressed with nearly everything he lays eyes upon. His smiles are large, and he every openly expresses emotions of joy and appreciation.
He wears a white linen shirt on his torso, the sleeves ending in laced cuffs. Over this he wears a very large, very nice-looking brown coat/robe, with a high collar, fancy embroidery, and wide sleeves. The garment's tail ends at his feet, which are covered in polished black boots, worn over black pantaloons, though those are normally hidden from sight. He wears a loosely tied bow around his neck.
On his forearm, normally covered by his sleeves, is his demon mark, the tattoo-like indicator of his race. It is a black shape akin to a raindrop, surrounded by a circle of small rings.
His demon form is a complete foil to his beautiful appearance.
In this form, he is a large, gold bird, at least fifteen feet tall not including the tail feathers, and has an appearance that speaks violence. Said feathers are ragged-looking, rough to the touch - they can be sharpened into blades and launched from his body like quills.
His talons are a similar gold color, and his beak is short, and colored the same, though with a black spot at the tip. His proud head is adorned in white feathers and his eyes are a shining red.

.personality
General Personality:
Ein is very aloof, enthusiastic, and well-read. He has a great appreciation for all things in the world, both living and inanimate, and sees them as beautiful in their own way. He loves art, music, theater, poetry, epics, opera, and literature. He is also fond of singing and dancing.
He holds those who do not appreciate the value of the world in contempt, thinking them to be unbearably horrifying people with no sense of appreciation.
Ein has a tendency to be unintentionally obnoxious and egotistic - this is the fault of his upbringing. He was instilled with all the manner of nobility, but none of the values. He is very narcissistic, and cares a great deal about his maintenance. He will claim his beauty to be natural, but he goes to great lengths to maintain it.
Despite his tendency to be...the way he is, he holds everyone he meets in high respect. Even those he dislikes are treated politely. This is unfailing, as he goes as far as to extend his courtesy to those he is doing battle against. He feels like needless insults are useless, and will only "Use a wicked tongue" on someone he feels truly deserves it.
He abhors his heritage greatly, but not because of the race in particular - he has no problem with demons and doesn't begrudge others for it. He simply doesn't like his own personal true form, as he tends to loose control of himself whenever he resorts to it, becoming very violent and wild.

.specialities
Power Description: Ein can see the "threads" of Magic and Spirit. Whenever a Spell is cast, he can see a unique thread that ties itself to the caster. If the spell is afflicting something in particular, he will also see the thread tie its other end(s) to the target(s).
Each thread has a unique color, typically depending on the caster for unique magics, while elemental magics generally make threads with their representative colors (for example, Fire magic would usually make a Red Thread). Due to the various different kinds of threads and colors that come with different kinds of magic, Ein has learned to recognize a myriad of different spells almost instantly, simply by glancing at their threads. As a result of this, he occasionally moonlights as a Curse-breaker, due to how valuable his skill is to that field.
Ein is also able to apply magic to a weapon of his choosing, typically a sword, and then use it to cut through the threads of magic. This allows him to instantly break active spells, and if he is quick enough, even negate a Spell mid-cast.
Lastly, Ein can also see a suggestion of Spirits - his power cannot actually see Ghosts or Spirits, or interact with them, but he WILL see a Pale, floating orb in the air whenever a spirit is present.
Power-Related Weaknesses: Ein cannot break all spells. Spells with a power beyond his skill level will resist all attempts at breaking them, should he try to cleave through them. Additionally, his power makes him a magnet for those who dwell on the Fourth Plane - that is to say, his knowledge, and his active pursuit of tampering with active magics out of fun often causes unrest and irritation among those supernatural beings who put them in place. He can also discern absolutely nothing about Ghosts and spirits beyond the fact that they are THERE.
This power also causes him to be easily distracted, as he cannot shut out the threads from his vision - he always sees them, no matter what.
Strengths: Ein is linguistically talented, and is rather accomplished in Sword fighting.
Weaknesses: He can be rather naive, and is hopelessly insensitive of others without even realizing it. He also fights in quite a formal style, and has a habit of allowing his opponent unnecessary chances for the sake of gentlemanly conduct.
Stats: Strength: 30% Wisdom: 20% Dexterity: 10% Luck: 10% Health: 30%

Occupation: Author
History:
Ein was born into a family of serving men and women - his family was subservient to the various Nobles of Rielcia. Upon his birth, his parents marveled at his lovely appearance, even to the point where the Nobility took notice of the adorable bundle of joy.
As he grew older, it became apparent to his mother and father that his good looks could get him very far in life. They wanted him to climb the ranks and become a high-end member of the Nobility, so that he could bring them wealth and fame. As a result, he was taught to act like a Noble, and his parents spent every penny they had on his education - he was the only child to come out of the lower rung who attended a wealthy private school.
However, he did not take to the ideals and values of the Nobility as his parents had hoped, and instead decided to go about living his own life. There was little love lost between he and his parents, as they simply wanted him to get them social standing and didn't care about him beyond that. He simply wandered off one day on his way home from school, and decided to begin traveling, pursuing his education on his own.
As he traveled, he gained an appreciation for the world and its many wonders, and became interested in the poetry of it all.
He took a mild interest in the war at one point upon its outbreaking, even going so far as to take up arms. He couldn't pick, however, so he first signed up for the Ainese army. He then deserted and joined up with Dirys. Shortly afterward (just one week), he switched sides again, volunteering for Artavia.
Eventually, he grew bored of participating, and decided to watch from the sidelines. After all, he reasoned, the great epics were much more entertaining to read, he was sure, than they were to actually be a part of. Then he reasoned that it might be more exciting for those on the receiving end of the war - the Attonese. And so, he took to wandering the area there, thinking he could watch a truly stunning story unfold from that vantage point.
He hopes to one day document and novelize the events of the war.
