History: Born to Isaac and Sarah Mamune as their third son, Cain showed little interest in their craft, mining. His older brothers were named Martin and Nikolas. They also had a girl 2 years after Cain and they named her Anya. His eldest brother eventually took up their craft and went to the mines and his older brother Nik took up the battle ax and went off to become a fighter for hire. From a young age Cain showed promise instead in the field of weapons and armor smithing and, though his family lived in Enezenn, he still slowly gained renown and reputation. From time to time, Martin and his father would bring back rare ores and gems, and, though mostly self-taught, he continued to gain skill and ability and slowly began to incorporate them into his weapons. His parents seeing his skill in smithing, sent him to his uncle's home in Solv. His uncle was of a similar trade. With Solv's more expansive resource's and a much larger pool of customers, Cain's skills grew at an astounding rate. One day, in return for a very fine set of armor, a noble gave Cain a rare jewel. He said it was known as the the Demon's Eye. His brother had returned home for his official coming of age ceremony and Cain decided he wanted to do something special. He forged an Axe the likes of which few had ever seen before and set the Demon's Eye into it, unknowing of the consequences of his actions. He traveled with his uncle back to Enezenn, where he presented him with the Axe. They all walked over to the lamb that Cain's uncle had picked up on the way so that Martin could blood the Axe. When the first strike made contact with the unaware victim, the Axe turn black and shattered, instantly killing martin. An enraged dark embodiment emerged from the shards of the jewel and began about, causing havoc so that, when the atrocious event was over, only Cain and Anya were left of his entire. They recovered slowly, and with the readings of both his parents' and his uncle's wills inherited both the house in Enezenn as well as the house in Solv. They sold the house in Enezenn and decided to live in Solv. A few years passed with Cain under the tutelage of a new master. His new master, Thomas Brightsteel had told him that he must now become a journeyman on his way to becoming a master and to do travel the lands. In order to travel the ease he taught Cain how to fight well enough, telling him that he could also do well as a sell sword while traveling and after a time sent him along on his way to new adventures, ores and acceptance of his place in the world.

Roleplay Example: The dust from the desert spilled into the room as the stranger lifted the flap into the small pavilion. He looked around, and finding the man he was looking for a small dark-skinned dwarf, crossed the hearth of the room and took a seat at the same seat as his contact. “Word on the street is you know where the master Dalazar has secreted himself off to. Is this true?”
“It might or it might not have been true. How much are you willing to offer.”
“100 gold.”
“Such a paltry sum, surely finding Dalazar is worth more than that to you.”
“I have other contact if need be, and I have all the time I need to to find him.”
“But surely you can offer a little more,” the dwarf said, slamming his fist on the table.
“400 gold, but not an ounce more.”
“Hand it over first,” Cain handed over the gold, and as the dwarf finished counting the gold, he said, “Go north. Find the human Loxsley. Ask him where the shrine of smiths is. That's where I last saw Dalazar. By the way, despite the rumors, his heart gem at the hall of masters still has not yet dimmed. Despite what many have tried to say, Dalazar is very much alive.”
