Character Appearance: True to his race, Yuusuke appears to be only 19 years-old. He has light blonde hair that looks nearly white or silver in the right light, and his eyes are the most prominent feature of his face, ranging from dark to lighter green depending on the light. His inheritance from his race providing him with being light on his feet, Yuusuke tends to follow with his clothing, usually dressed in only a thin black sleeveless shirt and a pair of full length light baggy pants, light in both their color and fabric.

He has a slight and skinny build, which makes him appear somewhat weaker than he is, due to the muscles that he does have being extremely thin. But he's definitely not a body-builder - he's the likely loser in an arm-wrestling match. He is also a few inches over average, with his legs as the main contributors to this, being a little longer than expected.

Yuusuke’s usually blank expression seems to make people see him as uncaring or cold, but it tends to be more of a poker face. Aside from the blank expression, Yuusuke’s face can be very expressive, due to the range of movement in his eyebrows, however many people get mildly weirded out when they lose sight of them, however.

As for his not-so-extravagant wardrobe, the only accessory-like items he has are four ear piercings, two loops on the left, one on the right, and a stud in each earlobe.


Special Power/Ability: Yuusuke can pump excessive amounts of oxygen into his bloodstream and hold his breath for over an hour.

Personality: Yuusuke tends to make a generally bland first impression, with a somewhat blank expression and subtle body movements. However, he says that the poker-esque face is a result of plain boredom. Many people say he has no sense of humor because he rarely laughs at blatant and childish jokes, but he’ll burst out laughing if he finds something truly amusing.

He has what he refers to as a “closed-door policy,” because he’s not an open book, it takes time to get on his good side. Though he’s a good natured person, he takes time to trust others. He can be very protective, however, when the time comes…providing that he has something to care for.

Yuusuke is a blank slate when it comes to religion, so he has no morals aside from his own. He believes what he sees, and has a very frank outlook on life. He looks before he leaps, and thinks about what he says before blurting out anything stupid.

Though Yuusuke seems cool-headed, when adrenaline kicks in, it's suggested that others should be prepared; if angered, Yuusuke can be very short-tempered and snappy, even if he never resorts to violence. If you do manage to piss him off, however, be prepared for a good verbal whipping.

History: Born and raised in Vieri, Yuusuke was adopted as a by the elderly Harpy woman when his parents somehow disappeared. Had the boy been older than one when he was abandoned by them he probably would have some idea what happened to them, but neither he nor his adopted "granny" ever heard word of the couple, nor the deadly disease that overtook his parents - the man and the woman had the mother's sister take the young boy to a sheltered nook on the outskirts of the small village.

His care taker, an old woman named Valanti Draun, was a very practical woman, teaching the young Venese everything that was necessary for a boy his age to know - or at least, what she considered important; trust nobody, be mature, fun is for wimps, and that your most important possession is yourself.

Once his caretaker passed away, 20 years later, Yuusuke was left alone, with only her money to his name, and his most precious items being the abandoned houseful of food that the woman left behind. And though he questioned the old lady's morals - because fun wasn't that bad, right? - he found himself following the first value nearly religiously, and ended up mature whether he wanted to or not.
