Rules of Setsuwa

Okay, here are some major rules for this roleplay forum. Please read this before you do anything else! The most important thing to read for each note is in bold, you only need to read on if you're looking for more detail.

1. This forum is rated around 16A and occasionally moves up to 18A-R, although these threads will be marked as such, if you are uncomfortable with this, I will suggest you stay away.

2. Mature content is allowed, assuming both parties are a) Old enough for it in their respective juri-sdictions and b) both consent to roleplaying it. Mature content may include extreme violence or gore, rape or sex scenes of any kind and other such situations. If a roleplay is graphic please ensure that there is a note in the topic title to warn potential readers eg. A Day on the Beach [M].

3. If you are out of character in the roleplay section of the forum, please denote it using some form of OOC.

4. Power-Playing and God-Moding are forbidden anyone caught doing these things will be warned!

4a) Power-Playing is taking control of another person's character and saying what they did, didn't do, thought etc. Obviously small things no one cares about, and if you have permission from the other person it's fine.

4b) God-Moding is making your character all powerful or all knowing - your character will not necessarily know everything you know. The character cannot always be able to do everything.

5. Rudeness and bigotry towards any members is completely unacceptable. I understand bigoted characters, characters with extreme prejudice, but please keep that IN-CHARACTER. Out of character we all love each other!

6. I repeat, as this is really important: do not personally insult any member of this site .

7. One character per account, but you may have as many accounts as you want. This is due to how we do the stats, money and experience!

8. Max size for any posted picture is 500 width and 700 height. Please resize the picture or post it in a link. The maximum height/width for signatures is 650 width and 500 height. If you need more room, try using a spoiler tag!

9. All threads should have a time-stamp to keep track of where in the timeline the character is! A character should not be in two places at once - unless they have an ability that allows them to be, of course!

10. The most important thing? Have fun. If there is a problem you are experiencing that is hindering this, please tell me and I will do my best to fix it! We look super srs and intense, but we're just such suckers for making this a really real experience for us and the characters!

When you reach 100 on your Warning Meter you will be banned for a certain amount of time and then get however many days you were banned for (x100) of your Gold taken away.

After you are banned for a third time, if you reach 100 again within the timespan of a year, your character will be killed off and you will have to start over again, which is never fun. NOTE: There are other situations in which you will be banned immediately. Warning level decreases over time.
