One of the most dangerous and famous places in all Setsuwa. The Mirror Lake is an odd, flat-surfaced lake of shimmering (extremely reflective) silver. Nothing appears to create ripples on the Mirror Lake, and when someone does touch it, it finds itself sucked inside. No one is quite sure what the bottom of the Mirror Lake is like, but many believe it to be a hollow valley with no way out where people starve to death. All people really know is that the surface is impenetrable from the bottom, or at least - no one has come back out after being consumed by the lake.
